Sydney Pollack Dies

One of the most prolific directors in America, Sydney Pollack has died at the age of 73.

Pollack helmed some of Hollywood’s most memorable films, including Out of Africa, Tootsie, Absence of Malice, The Firm, Three Days of the Condor, and The Way We Were.

Pollack was also a notable character actor in his own right, turning in notable performances in such films as Husbands And Wives, Eyes Wide Shut, and Michael Clayton; as well as TV appearances in shows like Will & Grace and The Sopranos. His final screen appearance is in Made Of Honor.
