Suicide Attempt?

Actor Owen Wilson was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center yesterday, reportedly as the result of a suicide attempt. Various news outlets were reporting at least one of Wilson’s wrists had been slashed, and he was being detoxed for ingesting a large number of pills.

The good news is that Wilson is now in good condition, releasing a statement today saying “I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."

Wilson recently went through a nasty and very public break-up with actress Kate Hudson. He’s best known for his roles in the hit comedies The Wedding Crashers and Shanghai Noon.
