Welcome to the DVD Empire Blog. My name is Shannon Nutt and I'm the Editorial Director over at DVD Empire.

The purpose of our blog is to let readers know about goings-on at the Empire, give you some information on DVDs we've checked out (both the good AND the bad!), provide some commentary or the latest "scoop" on industry events and happenings, and occasionally just vent or rant on a topic that may or may not be related to the DVD, CD, Games or the movie industry. Of course, we'll keep you up to date on special updates and exciting promotions on the DVD Empire site, as well.

We're trying to get most of our staff involved in our blog...so you'll be hearing from my other Empire co-workers and their areas of expertise as we move along.

Keep in mind that although we're employees of DVD Empire, any comments you see here are solely those of the poster and do not necessarily reflect those of the company or other employees of the company.
